  1. Silicon Valley bought the Democrats a few years back. I doubt they care about the white working class at all, figuring they'll be dead in a few years. The Democrats need Republicans to attack so to keep the various racial/social groups glued together. I tend to think if a sacrificial group is needed for more bonding agent it will be the Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese ethnic groups as they are relatively low in number and have done as well or better than those white guys. Any loss of Asians can be made up with Hispanics. So, I doubt the Democrats will give a hoot about the loss of white blue collar voters depending instead on the racial mix to change in a few states enough to tilt some them back in their favor.
