  1. I thought the animated version of Mulan showed a good mix of Chinese male and female. I have only seen the trailer but the live action version of Mulan lacks all the charm and sweetness of the animated Mulan. Anyway, the Disney animated Mulan was an American film and should not have followed a certain formula based on Chinese versions. Disney's take on Mulan should be different.
