  2. When the government (like China) owns all the land, it is easy to get land to build railroads. Beijing makes the land owners a deal they can't refuse.

  3. Looking at the mix of railcars in the video, they are good for 2 things: 1) Export raw materials 2) Import finished goods Hmmmm... kinda makes you think who benefits and who gets stuck with the tab.
