  1. Not solely the British Empire but the West as a collective. When I want to get under the skin of the oppressed types I like to remind them the accomplishments of Europe (and with it the U.S.) moved the world forward at a rate and depth not witnessed before in history. Many of the complaints are really envy but the oppressed types should appreciate they got to go along for the ride. And if they complain further, tell them to turn off their computer and shut the lights off. And you can't complain about it, you're not entitled to freedom of speech.

  3. The Guardian ended the reader's comments on their website. The sad thing is the Guardian is such a left wing dumpster fire you can not even take a little pride in the fact you were attacked by them.
