  1. I started expecting this years ago when I had seen an increase in these real estate investing promoters. Housing could be considered something beyond investing, it is basic to living, like food. It was only a matter of time some of what you are seeing happen now would occur. There isn't a politician in the country that would support landlords over thousands and thousands becoming homeless. I suspect in blue states and Democrat party controlled cities, you will see more and more landlords getting the back seat in any housing crisis. Once started this type of thinking could only expand and become more common and more expansive. If I were a landlord I would be thinking about getting out of rentals while the getting is good.
