  1. I am not British. The British played the game everyone else did but they just got very good at it. In the end did it hurt India? The British gave the United States a good start. Anyway, the slave trade and the lunacy of the Communists in China are two different things and being a colony of the British saved the people of Hong King a LOT of grief and pain.

  3. If I right, being under the British flag spared Hong Kong some of the lunacy of Communist China like the Cultural Revolution. I can see why many H.K.'s are concerned.

  4. India is a liberal democracy, Communist China is not. I'd much rather see the people of Hong Kong in a liberal democracy than a totalitarian state..
