  1. The Afghans did not fight for their freedom. The U.S. carried that country for almost 20 years. The Taliban gets back in power and they start brutalizing the populace. And it appears (as always), the surrounding Muslim countries do not seem to be to eager to help.

  3.  @corydor4218  For 20 years we sloshed a lot of money into the country. Probably what the U.S. is sitting on now probably came from the U.S. originally. By sending aid we will just be boosting the Taliban (so they win twice over). We can send them the money but then we get out of the Mideast and surrounding area because that part of the world is the pit of humankind. If Russia or China want the Mideast, let them have it.
