  4.  @johnsanders561  Which Department produces military veterans? The VA is a separate operation but basically serves ex military. The Department of Defense also has a healthcare operation for members of the military. Both DoD and VA run several joint programs. So cut DoD you may affect the VA. So when you say cut the DoD budget, you should be prepared to say what programs are to be cut.
