  1. This is a subsidy to the legal industry. Lawsuits are also a legitimate business expense which enrich the legal industry much. As Rock points out Fox does not get the full $787 million back, they get a pro rated amount back. If Rising requires red spikey high heels to broadcast for them our dynamic duo can write off the cost of the heels on their taxes because it is an expense created to obtain employment. The same applies if brains were required. Anyway, the tax write off isn't quite the bounty it sounds to be. Fox will still be taking a nice hit.
