  2.  @melissarodriguez21  You can not raise rents or purchase prices without strong demand. If you think 10's of 1,000's of people moving into an area doesn't affect housing, think again.

  5.  @danharvey3096  The undocumented may cost more then the value they bring to an economy. They are also a source of reduced wages and keep in mind immigration's main purpose was to assure a steady supply of cheap labor. Many a Democrat recalls fondly the golden age of the 1950's when wages in the U.S. rose at a nice clip. They forget immigration was radically reduced and the supply of cheap labor got cut off. Sometimes it feel pointless to endlessly reargue all this. I would rather we ship 250,000 of those migrants on the U.S. southern border and send them off to New Zealand. It will be interesting to see how things work out.
