This has been discussed for the past few years, there just were no press releases. India abstained in the UN over Ukraine but didn't seem to be as popular a move as one may think. Indians spend their spare complaining about British rule but a lot of Indians saw that as giving the nod to Russian colonialism. China and Russia may find India will not want to be a team player, they want to cut their own path and India is large enough to do it.

@343ramana The Ukrainians were going to goose step their way right to Moscow where they were going to ravish the women of Russia. How many times has NATO attacked the Soviet Union/Russia vs the times the Soviet Union/Russia has attacked it's neighbors?

@narendrapanse7844 The U.S. said Ukraine would be considered but even Ukraine knows they need approval from the other members of NATO.

@christophercooper2208 As long as China gets a good deal on minerals and ores from Russia, China will permit Russians to visit Paris. The Chinese can be good that way.
