This has been encouraged by Democrats. If the border is actively enforced these people will not being trying to pile in, they do what they think they can get away with. The current president of Mexico wants it so Mexicans can just freely pile into the U.S. Emily did make the right observation, this problem can only be corrected at the source. Our trade policy should be reworked to benefit China far less and benefit Central America far more, improving their economies and possibly creating new markets for American goods as well. Ryan just wants the problem to continue.

@neil3467 The solution is border enforcement and immigration control. That is fixing the problem at it's source. You then allow in immigrants in a manner the labor market doesn't get flooded.

Several years ago I was talking to a woman who mentioned her property taxes for schools were going up and up and up because the school system had to educate the illegal's kids. People like Ryan never takes into consideration the ill effects these do gooder approaches to people who aren't nice well moneyed middle class Progressives.
