  3.  @GeneElder.R027  Nixon's Southern strategy was to get Democrat moderates. The conservative DEMOCRATS went with George Wallace. George Wallace said segregation today. tomorrow and forever and it is far left wings types that lean Democrat preaching the same today. Like yesterday's slaveholders, today's woke and SJW types seem to be pretty much the same elitist personality types that know what is better for you and have no problems using arrogance and violence to achieve their goals. Using political identities is a rough guide as no one party is strictly based on one type of people. But overall the Democrats have an almost unblemished record of violence, arrogance and know it all ism the Republicans compete poorly with.
