  1. The Puerto Rican power authority is a state agency, meaning government run. You know, the kind of thing Briahna just loves. Puerto Rico doesn't want to be independent because it would end up like Cuba. Nobody is forcing Puerto Rico to stay, they split the vote which keeps the island in a neither here nor there state. I have seen coverage of Puerto Rico but to be honest, for Puerto Rico storm damage is nothing new, It happens every few years.

  3. A lot of money was spent on repairing Puerto Rico's electric grid system. The problem is for decades they never upgraded their system and it looks like something Thomas Edison installed himself a 100 years ago. This was a failure of the local government, their electric grid ended up looking like their finances, a lot of money spent but little good came from it.
