  1. Ukraine should not be minimized. The Mideast is a dumpster fire and pretty much a waste of time. The defeat of Russia on the battlefield will reduce Russia's credibility as a world power which would make them a secondary player in the now forming economic bloc in Asia whose interest does not favor the United States.
