  1. McConnell blew it over the second stimulus check. He could have demanded a stand alone bill that would allowed a $1,200 check to go out months ago before the holidays and he flubbed it. It would have been an easy win over the Democrats and been a hit for the Republicans with the up coming elections showing they are paying attention to people in need. McConnel should be removed from leadership in the Senate.
