@serpent77 I used cult in a tongue in cheek manner and is more a reference to his 5% of the vote during the primaries. Anyway, his "cult" mainly speaks of UBI. No UBI, no one would give him any mind. When Yang was running he struck me as Mr Play It Safe. Outside of UBI he offered nothing remarkable. He rarely addressed issues outside of his narrow range. Over time Gabbard seemed to be a better choice but I knew if she did above her 5%, there was no way the Democrats were going to help her.

@obamavariant9128 They all have papers and policy positions. On the trail, he rarely talked about them. And his website had a bunch of warm fuzzies. It appeared Yang never took a marketing course. And "I'm running for f*ckin' President" lacks that catchy certain something. Sort of like Libertarians are always the bar fly at the Political Saloon.
