Ryan just couldn't help but be condescending. While this segment worked hard to be heartwarming, it is a GRIMM reminder of a political party that engineered Saigon also engineered Afghanistan. And then to top it all off, our current Vice President posed under a picture of Ho Chin Min (a modern enslaver) a day ago.

@hillaryclintondidnothingwrong Hillary, maybe you forgot it was the Democrat controlled the Congress that pulled the plug on South Vietnam. All the Republican president can do is try to engineer a graceful as possible exit.

@hillaryclintondidnothingwrong Congress was controlled by the Democrats and it is Congress that decides to fund wars. No funds, no war. When Congress cut off funds for the war, North Vietnam smiled. A lot.

@hillaryclintondidnothingwrong Lyndon Johnson mismanaged the war from day 1. Nixon let the dogs loose and North Vietnam wanted peace talks. If I was of a more sarcastic turn of mind, one might think the Democrats did not want a Republican to wind up the war successfully. Good thing I am not of a sarcastic mindset.
