  1. NBC is owned by Universal Pictures, CNN is owned by Warner Bros Pictures. Walt Disney owns the ABC Network. Think about it.

  2.  Chip Buttylover  It says right on the opening credits Universal is a Comcast company and Warner Bros I think is still Warner Communication or Media or what ever it is this week (though owned by AT&T). Universal acquired NBC from GE/Vivendi, Warner Bros bought CNN/Turner. They were both then sold to Comcast and AT&T respectively. Any, Hollywood pushed the news deeper into entertainment. And CBS and Paramount pictures had the same corporate parent. It's showtime people! For real news you need Twitter! <snicker>

  4.  Chip Buttylover  Channel 4 is BBC if I am correct and I have heard more than a few complaints about the BBC's non-bias. So, some do care. That is like National Public Radio (NPR) here. They claim to give it straight but at the end day after day I hear liberal women throwing their heads back laughing about how they really are a bit better than everyone else. My bigger complaint about the majors in the U.S.A. is all too often they set aside important news both national and international for their silly gothcha news "reporting'.
