@xq8152 Our school is lead by Blacks and they have been spending money like it falls from the sky like rain. I had suggested I hope they have the decency to help poorer people move out when they can't afford the tax increases from the school board. There was NO reason a minute or two couldn't have been spent addressing the leadership of Jackson.

@kenneth804 Was the crisis self inflicted. Briahna failed to give any key background information. I guess this is what we can expect from a Harvard educated woman.

@xq8152 You can still ask if the city managers were any good or whether their proposals are bad. Basic good reporting. The intent was to make the Republican governor to look like a boogie man. Thanks to Briahna, we'll never know now.

@xq8152 If you worked in local government you would know many school boards levy taxes to fund the school system. These taxes are placed on property and every time there is a raise, there is an increase in property taxes. People who rent or own a home have to pay these taxes. Renters pay them through the rent they are charged. So when the school board increases taxes on property, rents go up. This can place a hardship on low income renters. So the next time our local school board raises taxes which cause a rent increase, maybe the people who get evicted can get some help moving their belongings by the people who caused their rent to go up.
