  5. Gavin would be a target rich environment. Remember, Kamala Harris was seen as solid too but left wing Democrats from California tend to fade out once they cross the Sierra Nevada mountains. California Democrats really do think the rest of America is just so stupid.

  6.  @JAYY_JAYY  I thought Newsom was the Democrat's best shot until I started listening to him. For some reason the garbage Californians shovel to each other will play past the California-Nevada border. Housing, the crooked little railroad, taxes, homeless, goofy zoning laws and huge state deficits are not great talking points. Newsom would be a target rich environment for Republicans. Gavin better stay home. With hindsight and history, the Kennedys were never such a great bunch though JFK probably had the best media image. Plus he had wit, something that can get a guy pretty far.

  11. The point is ObamaCare failed to meet it's objectives. The fact some people still use it doesn't qualify the program as a great success. And you can not forget the people who lost coverage they liked because of Obama's plan.

  17. No books were banned. Some books were removed from courses but are available in the school libraries. Since schools were built for parents, parents were exercising their choice on what they want to their children to learn. And that IS freedom. Schools are for parents, NOT the teachers union.

I have a soft spot for DW (Deutsche Welle) as they seem to sub out their American news stories to some loopy left wing outfit that is really selling politics. I have had good fun going after DW for it. I gave them credit, they do not delete my posts. Fox News is no where as bad as the others like CNN, MSNBC,NBC, CNN etc. Some of the best news comes from these little right wing sites that are not covered by the rest, mainly because those stories do not fit the Left wing narrative. I peruse through other European news and have no strong opinion on it. Sadly, The People's Daily has gone soft, I always enjoyed reading one columnist, a bitter looking thing that would drag on the U.S. when things were going badly, then ecstatic when things were going well with the U.S. (after she got her cues from Beijing). That woman could really turn a caustic phrase, she made it an art form. Those old Commie Chinese, if nothing else, they were entertaining.
