  1. Unless gold is used in circulation I am not sure what purpose it serves sitting in a vault. You turn it into Bitcoin with imaginings of value based on nothing. With the chaos caused in the wheat market due to Ukraine war maybe owning a bushel of wheat might offer more security. You can't eat a bar of gold.
