Thanks to Carl Zeiss, more bad movies are made with greater clarity than ever before.

I went through a box of tissues crying my way through this beautiful documentary.

Some companies code parts in cellphones so they can not be interchanged for repairs. The part will fit but a message will appear stating a non-approved replacement was installed (even if it is produced in the same brand factory). This may cause of loss of features.

I found it amusing the woman painting over the black and white photos that were over 100 years old. The action reflects her neurosis more than any need to correct the past. As soon as she said she was from California I knew where this segment was headed.

The Earth is pretty leaky and I heard an estimate of the amount of oil that comes up through cracks in the sea bed. It was a pretty scary number.
11
Ah yes, the villages. The good old days where famine, drought, constant warfare and plagues were part of life's daily routine.
10
You should read something useful.

@artman7780 When Central America gets it's act together and they stop chasing their people out.
9
I have been through diamonds I have been through minks All I can tell you is, love stinks
8
Many cities have been Democrat run for decades, their decline occurring in the same time period.
8
State media is state media. Remember that.
7
@douggief1367 No. What ever Testosterone I have left wouldn't allow it.
7
One may laugh but it should be kept in mind how frail the electric grid is. Whether it's a nuclear device set off high in the air to destroy the grid or a Carrington type event, if key components are destroyed, it could be months before the electric could be restored. In the mean time the limited food supplies would be consumed.
7
@shrinkhh79 The United States takes in the more immigrants than any other country in the world. No apologies are due.
7
In the United States this documentary would be seen as a donation in kind to the Democrat Party.
7
In mainland China there is no private anything. Surprisingly, there are a lot of Chinese that feel fine over the social credit system and the control of their money. There is an assumption they are good people and no one will ever punish them, either by intent or mistake.

A few days ago where I live we broke the record for highest temperature for the area set back in the 1930's by 1 degree. It took all this time and after all the effort at environmental destruction the best we could do is 1 degree more. Somedays enduring all the doom and gloom just isn't worth the trouble.
6
You missed the Democrats freaking out when President Reagan said "Mr. Gorbachev - tear down this wall."
6
This is one long advertisement.
6
During one of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, U.S. Senator Stephen Douglas called Abraham Lincoln "two-faced." To which Lincoln replied, "I leave it to my audience. If I had another face, do you think I would wear this one?"
6
I felt like I just watched a half hour advertisement.
6
Trump supporter?
6
@Brian Bedford Yea, the good old days they didn't use labels. One tribe would just cross a river to kill off another tribe never uttering an evil thought.
5
With A.I. becoming more sophisticated, a lot less people will have stressful work schedules. The bakers will have plenty of job applicants.
5
There is a vast difference between a legal arrival and one that doesn't arrive legally.
5
@shrinkhh79 The issue at hand is Central America which for 200 years has been corrupt and unstable. You do not have problems with countries that are not corrupt or unstable. When was the last time we had to attack Switzerland? The last time a coalition had to be formed to save the world from Thailand? Your canned response does reflect you age and experience. If there is deception going on, it is in organizations like DW which no doubt is run by a bunch of nice middle class kids that like to cherry pick issues.
5
When you have more Puerto Ricans on the mainland instead of in Puerto Rico, that says something about the island.
5
@notsure6958 Plus the pollution of the land and rivers with fertilizers.
5
If you enter this world a male, you will go to your grave a male. Why all this effort to live in a lie? And why do women encourage it? I thought they wanted men to be honest?
4
I realize DW has a dreary attitude towards the United States but in the name of some balance DW could have mentioned Trump has gained support both in the Black and Hispanic communities.
4
Socialism did execute a lot of people so that would be a way of reducing CO2 generation.
4
When everyone speaks out... all you get is a lot of noise.
4
Absolute gibberish
4
@shrinkhh79 Sorry, not interested in proportions. Year after year we take in more people through the legal immigration system than all other countries. Maybe the world should demand their home countries do better so people do not have to flee. Fix the problem at the source.
4
Was this "documentary" done before or are all DW programs starting to sound a like? Maybe DW the next time could try something new like ask what do the rich actually do with their money? For all practical purposes this was NOT a documentary but more of an opinion piece.
4
Usually white upper middle class types love diversity... because they do not have to live in it.
4
There is no greater joy than sitting down to have a nice prime rib dinner. I just tried some vegan meatballs and they were awful. The rest went to the garbage can. If Polar bears and Lions like meat, why shouldn't humans?
4
So Scotland is a small collection of malcontents that want to raise some sheep and tell some mediocre jokes. That spells nation to be me!
3
If you are born into this world a male, that is exactly how you will leave it, a male.
3
The rlch do not have to run, they can just do less and then the poor will be poorer.
3
@queenfubi General George Patton wanted to go on to Berlin and end his eastern thrust at Vladivostok, Russia. He was right about the Soviet Union but the Allies lacked an enthusiasm for his plan.
3
Nothing nicer than concrete jungles.
3
"a fragmented multicultural, multiracial, multiethnic & multireligious democracy." Is what brings on dictatorships. Many people decried Hitler but enough Germans felt things had gone downhill so much they voted for the man.
3
LOL... The we're all going to die if we don't change technique. But if you dump enough government money into electric cars, it could work. But they never talk about the CO2s to make the cars and the recycling of the batteries that make the cars go. I guess send the batteries to Nigeria for recycling, out of sight, out of mind.
3
People live on boat homes now in the states.
3
The African nations have been independent too long to blame the colonial powers any longer. Both Japan and China built major industrial economies in a span of 30-40 years.
3
The fact you have these movements growing tells you it is the liberals that live in a lie. The problem is the liberal's almost complete inability to self reflect.
3
Zeiss is the go to for high grade optics. There are a few other excellent optics makers but Zeiss is still considered the best.
3
CIA or no CIA, this is Central and South America politics. Constant social and political instability, the saviors end up being the prison wardens. Over 200 years of it. This is the reality. Not the fanciful illusions of really dumb western deluded middle class kids.
3
@frostydei5012 You sound like you read the People's Daily.
