  2.  @qus.9617  The U.S. imports thousands and thousands of Indians a year for a variety of jobs. If you can pull that many people out, India has problems. India will not be a viable alternative to China for years. I will also say the United States should NOT make the same bad trade deals with India it did with China.

  3.  @Amidat  Whether China and India get along or not will not radically improve or make my life worse. India was the Soviet Union's azz kisser and no great friend to the United States. I was merely mentioning China's recent history indicates if anything happens, it is because China found India useful in one manner or another. As long as the United States had food surpluses, we'll be okay.

  6. The United States is trying to correct 25 years of bad trade policy with China. Even with changes the Chinese still have a good deal.
