  1. I was amused this video goes on about colonialism and the the EU dictates where these people can plant and grow their coffee beans. Actually I couldn't care less what Cortez did centuries ago, what matters is the coffee taste good and at a reasonable price. Doesn't matter about the British in Uganda. Does the coffee taste good? If not, they can plow their coffee plants under and put up a factory that makes circuit boards for Chinese factories.

  2. If the farmers want the best price for their crop.... they are being capitalists. The price of coffee is low because there is so much of it. Fair Trade supposedly pays a premium for better grades off coffee. Capitalism working for the farmers. In your socialist world, the government sets the price and that is the end of it.
