  1. American and European media lack the intellectual capability to put history in it's context of time and place. European empires pretty much played the game everyone else did around the world. The European Empires were a reaction against outside forces. Better to be top dog than to serve others. Sometimes the two most useless occupations ever are lawyers and tv producers.
