  1. When Donahue left Ebay there wasn't a dry eye from any seller on the platform because they were so happy to see him go. He has only one technique, squeeze any income source till it is bone dry. It seems he did the same at Nike. Why any company would hire him is beyond me.

  2. Coca Cola never tasted right after they dropped the 6oz heavy glass bottles. The tangy zing was gone and ever since then Coke tasted flat. They introduced an orange-cream not too long ago and all I can say about it is.... <<<Yawn>>>. A couple of years ago I went to a local store to get my annual can of Coke. I opened, took a swallow and well.... the old taste was back. It was great. The owner mentioned something about it being a special limited run. A few weeks later I decided to try Coke again but she sold out the special run and it was back to the watery soup that passes for Coke these days.

  3. Nothing like celloid in film making. Electronic video is fine for music videos but for the silver screen nothing works like Technicolor or the warmer Kodak film stocks.

  8. When you sell on Amazon or Ebay, you are effectively a McDonalds operator. And then depending on what you get into, you deal with suicidal competition who have no concept of margins or profits (ah....what do you mean by profit?). The companies whose products you sell make the profit, you get to discount your profits on their products into oblivion to make a sale.

In the context of your statement, you would say "Icing on the cake" or "The cherry on the Sundae" which means the last step to a successful dessert. Foxconn is most successful despite some of their less than wonderful operating controversies.
