After the Reagan "tax cuts to the rich" revenue to the federal government increased and few programs were cut. Employment zoomed and wages rose. As for AIDS, programs were funded and gays fought research into the HIV because they felt that would expose what they did behind closed doors. It was covered by the news at that time. Lawyers are not your best source of information, more so on economic matters. It is clear this woman i s reading from biased left wing websites.

@herisuryadi6885 Depends on how you look at it. Younger people did well while older stalled. Looking at wage growth you see the Reagan era was the start of a cycle of wage growth that lasted for 20 years. Reagan super charged the old economy while very late in the Bush 1 term you saw the rise of the new economy which continued under Clinton.

The world had soon changed after FDR's death. He looked good during what was a government created Depression (in which he had a hand). Reagan was dealing with those changes.
