  1. The United States was planning to withdraw it's troops in South Korea along with it's occupation forces in Japan. The Soviet Union (along with China) and North Korea convinced the U.S. to stay after they launched an invasion on South Korea in 1950. Let us see how fast CGTN deletes this post :)
