  1. Ukraine turned over it's nukes on the guarantee Russia would not invade Ukraine. How did that work out for Ukraine?

  2.  @texajp1946  Nato invasion? How many times has NATO invaded The Soviet Union/Russia? Now, how many times has the Soviet Union/Russia invaded it's neighbors? The 2014 coup only occurred because of the loss of popularity of the then current president and I recall there were people in eastern Ukraine stirring up trouble. Keep in mind Putin's low opinion of any concept that allowed Ukraine to exist and as a KGB man, stirring up trouble was part of his tool kit.

  3.  @texajp1946  "I stand with my comrades in donbas and Russia communist party" Victoria Nuland has said a lot of things. So has Vladimir Putin. I think because Putin has run his mouth off too much the war is beyond Ukraine at this point. Once you even hint at the use of nuclear weapons... no one no longer cares about Donbass outside of it's value to fight Putin..
