  4.  @davidlazarus67  Germany has been running trade deficits with China so they were already losing money. That is capital flight. Both Japanese and South Korean companies have been losing market in China. And China does have a policy of favoring domestic companies. All 3 countries have independent trade policies. They are finding out just as the U.S. has found out (but refuses to learn the lesson) when higher wage countries try too compete with lower wage countries, trade goes in the favor of the lower wage country.

  5.  @davidlazarus67  South Korean companies have been having problems for several years now. I am sure Germany will feel effects from the loss of Russian gas but they doesn't mean Germany still wasn't having problems. Even with plenty of Russian oil, Chinese companies are having problems.

  6.  @eddieleong6490  The trade off... Africans just do not learn how to assemble tv's, they will learn how to make them. Same for cell phones and everything else China makes :)
