  1. For CGTN I expect nothing but positive stories because the purpose of CGTN is to put a good face on China. From the bloggers I expect more than all happy talk all the time. The garlic joke came up before but it should be noted the United States has imported vegetables and spices grown in the same manner as the garlic imported from China. Several times tainted vegetables and other produce brought in with bacteria caused the death and severe illness for many Americans. This is no laughing matter and while Andy takes great amusement in the concern shown over tainted food product, for the people that suffered, well they weren't laughing. In the matter of the bloggers it should be noted the stories they do not cover.. What can be revealing is the things not said, not just the things spoken. The United States has a large Chinese population and they do act as a cross check regarding the stories that come out of China.
