Back in the early 1950's the United States wanted to leave Korea and guess what happened? North Korea (with the help and support of 2 large near by Communist countries) attacked South Korea.

LOL.... They did lose because they didn't accomplish what they wanted to do and now they lost because of the Kims. They lost the wrong way.

@truesouth4784 China shouldn't have but North Korea was a creature of Josef Stalin and The Soviet Union. North Korea is the legacy of Josef Stalin, it is his baby, his only surviving child.

@AEtherealGoddess The U.S. had to do it. This allowed the South Koreans, North Koreans, Chinese to sit under a shade tree, have a cigarette and a beer. Chill a little. The majority of deaths were in North Korea and North Korea has not released any numbers considered reliable. There is a large number of missing and it can be presumed many of these people slipped into South Korea as refugees and defectors. North Korea initiated the war and as the UN troops started pushing north, more battles took place in North Korea. If North Korea doesn't want casualties, they shouldn't start wars.
