@junwu1793 Huawei is populated with PLA members so what the PLA wants, Huawei will provide.

Social credit system. The whole of China IS a backdoor.

@webstertippingpoint572 The Communist Party tells Huawei we want this information, Huawei will provide it. There is no saying no to the Communist Party of China. Never, won't happen.
1
@raybod1775 You seriously think Huawei will prevent information from going to the Chinese Communist Party? Are you serious?
1
@marklauters5229 I bet you put hours into that response.
1
@junwu1793 If Huawei has no back doors, it is because China has back doors else where.
1
@shadowflying3252 You are dealing with a totalitarian regime. If China watches every move it's citizens make, their habit will not end at the border. The back door could be a future software update. In fact, that would be far smarter than loading the back door before the equipment is installed. You want the equipment in the door and all hooked up and the customer dependent on it.
1
@frankspeaking2630 The issue is Huawei not Intel. Intel back doors are known. I'm looking at Huawei, not squirrels.
1
@frankspeaking2630 At least you are not chasing squirrels.

China had a great trade deal with the U.S. They blew it.

@曾憲祥-c5q Xi Jinping wanted a pissing contest and he got one. He isn't a businessman, he is a political hack and did what political hacks do, make bad choices. Chinese workers will pay the price. Mexico should send Xi Jinping a thank you card for sending jobs to them.
1
@曾憲祥-c5q If the Chinese do not go bankrupt first. I was wondering if there will be a funny movie about Xi Jingping that will be as good as The Death Of Stalin.
1
@曾憲祥-c5q Possibly. Or you can get hit by a truck first. China has so much debt they no longer have any idea how much debt there is. How do I know? China told me so.

Takhe opi Is the Yuan backed 100% by gold? If not, the Yuan is toilet paper too. All paper currency is worthless, it just depends on how soon the public catches on that paper money is worthless. The dollar has had a good run but a high value currency makes exports more difficult. I have argued for years the dollar should lose a little value, maybe 20%.
1
Takhe opi I do not think China has every Yuan covered by gold so the Yuan is essentially fiat currency. As for debt China has a minimum of $6 trillion but accurate totals can not be had because of record keeping. The national government has already admitted they can not come up with a accurate total. This also doesn't include growing local, personal and business debt. Keep in mind if China had to sell their gold to pay off the debt, that would cause the price of gold to plunge making China's gold reserves much lower in value.
1
Takhe opi A flood of Yuan to pay off the debt will do what to China's gold reserves? Hmmmm?
1
Takhe opi You dilute the value of your gold reserves :) And keep in mind when you sink money into gold, you are diverting capital from active or income producing activities.
1
Takhe opi Whew! Thanks! I was worried!

The good that will come out of this is Americans will have to do smarter, wiser trade deals.

@lmmc7708 You mean: You're dumb, just like Trump. Insults are more effective when delivered by someone with an IQ over 80 who can spell.

@John M After watching RT I am moving to Russia because it is paradise (from what they say).
