  1. I wonder if he would enjoy modern Anime if he knew the look of Anime was in part from a 1936 Betty Boop cartoon called In A Language Of My Own. Part of a goodwill exchange was Betty Boop singing in Japanese and the grandfather of anime was sitting in the audience watching.
