  1. Similar experience here in Chicago. Once the mandate ended, I was literally the only person in my local Target not wearing one and got quite a few stares and some people even pivoted and backtracked down the aisles I was walking through to avoid me. It almost reminded me of the debunked "Miasma Theory" from the middle ages. Most folks have since come around though as it ended quite awhile ago now.
