  1. Covid elicited severe psychological paranoia within certain groups. That included intense agoraphobia and using masks as the equivalent of emotional support animals. These effects were much more pronounced with those who had underlying social anxiety to begin with.

  2.  @afry6400  Nobody is saying you aren't allowed to wear a mask or stay in your house. Anyone is free to do that if they want.
