  2. Many people think that their labor is worth more than it actually is. They demand sky high wages that small businesses with thin profit margins can't afford. The sense of entitlement runs deep.

  3. Small businesses don't have an endless wellspring of money from which to pay labor costs. It would be nice if they did, but they don't.
