  2. Worse, his defense lawyer can use the behavior of the cops against them. They cannot risk invalidating their interrogation by allowing their emotions to interfere. I couldn’t do it but there is a lot at stake they jeopardize by not abiding by the law themselves.

  5.  @Elizabethvaughan1  I am glad he has been convicted, I don’t know what you are implying with your snide comment. Police officers need to abide by the law when interrogating a suspect, period. In this case they had plenty of other evidence; but anything that could jeopardize the prosecution should be avoided.
