  1. Can you still find American made turp? The aroma of turpentine is one of those nostalgic aromas I recall from childhood on. Found an old can in my Dad's shop from the 1940's. Still good. Hard to open though. When I went to buy a new can once, I was disappointed to find the old aroma was distinctly different. Guess Fred Meyer (Kroger owned now) got theirs from Ukraine or China. Ugh. Awful. It was small industry in the South for ages.
