Johnson Smith novelty catalogs used to sell a tube of "Liquid Smoke". I think it cost like 25¢ or maybe 50¢. A tiny little tube. Really tacky stuff where you put a dab on your thumb and tap your index finger on it, creating tiny wisps of the grease that would float away. Looked like "smoke", lol. Dam hard to wash off though. Conoco grease probably. Oh, and it had a very distinct odor.
