  2. Well enzyme inhibitors and hydrolytic enzymes themselves both can have ameliorative effects, paradoxically. However we know when enzyme inhibitors are introduced there is a compensatory up production of the targeted enzyme.

  4. Dexamethasone is a fluorinated pregnane corticosteroid. It is known to increase amylase levels in serum and pancreatic production of amylase as well. As I stated here months ago, direct application of the hydrolytic enzymes amylase and trypsin should be tried in these cases. Even oral applications of pancreatin and GTF chromium would ameliorate the effects of the cardiopulmonary stresses.
