  1. It is very likely the proto earth was a ball of plasma ejected by the sun, consisting mostly of metallic hydrogen. And indeed still has a plasma enveloped liquid metallic sphere at its core. The transmutations of dissociated protons and electrons in the interior can recombine to produce neutrons and the heavier elements. Experiments in zero g with rotating liquids proves that the less dense elements will migrate to the polar axis and center. The seismic rebounding waves of earth also can be interpreted to indicate this condition obtains for the great depth towards the center. These facts have to modify our estimations of the age of the earth and planets.
