Confusion between pharma propaganda and science is common. Add politics to it and it's a big mess.

Everything the Dems are doing is telling America, "we're going socialist, no matter what you want."
109
It's not all theater or theatrics, but between voting power and lawsuits, I think lawsuits have greater impact showing how pissed we are
82
You can kill all the evil birds with one stone: abolish the federal tax and the IRS
81
Jeez, an empty chamber shows how disrespectful most members are of the public
70
He's crossing his fingers hoping the sciency-sounding gobbledegook will chill any more questions about that. What he hopes is that people will feel it's a nebulous area that is debate fodder, but unactionable. No one doubts he's trying to save his own neck, but it's pretty clear he's going to go down
64
Cannot believe this is even an issue. A portraitist can decide to paint your picture or not. You cannot compel the artist to do so, nor seek damages for the artist's refusal. Refusal of service is everyone's right, professional or not.
57
If Ted and Josh ran in 2024, they'd win
55
The effort shows the ignorance and stupidity of the people pushing for it. Like Chinese Communists with a weak grasp of how things work under a free Constitutional Republic.
45
"The president seriously takes the docu . . . takes the documents . . . seriously. I mean, he takes the documents, period. No! I mean he is serious about taking documents!! Ok, starting over . . When it comes to classified documents, the president takes them . . . Oh sh*'#$ . . "
45
To make sense of that interest we have been charged by our elected officials, think of $8 a gallon milk
31
Sen. Cruz is eloquent and the smartest guy in the building.
27
It's perplexing to me why no reporter asks "What aspect of the pandemic response did the last administration mismanage?"
27
Menendez thought he could railroad attention away from the language change and implied Cruz was a hypocrite, but he didn't get away with it. Yes, wording matters sir.
26
Saying he hasn't decided means McConnell is weighing how it would affect his reelection status
21
"I can't see straight, that's why!"
21
Bill readings on CSPAN should include at least a reading of the full title and synopsis. Yet a separate sub-channel should read all bills in full. See, this is how things escape public attention. What's their excuse? "Anyone can go to the Library of Congress to read the CR" . . . "It's online now!!" Really? I suppose that covers it then . . .
21
Hard to believe voter ID is even argued over. Think how many Canadians might try to vote here.
20
What is needed is for some documentary to show these border issues. Interview the mortuaries, emergency services people, residents along the entire length and get first hand reports before the American viewer. Simply reading the facts and litany of wrongs emanating from current policy isn't enough. It has to be made three dimensionally obvious. Even factual oral reports end up being deemed theoretical, and spin ends up being deemed facts. Eyes-on evidences are what drive facts out of the nebulous cloud of uncertainty into realized realities
19
Wall paper in a steam heated room peals like that. Please repair that.
18
I doubt it anymore. They saw lawsuits in the offing.
17
It is evidently impossible to get Forbes to note at what time, day, or date any of these snippets were filmed. We don't get any information from date of upload to reflect reality. These are out of date if one day old and the bill was passed. It's really useless for anything but a retrospective. We have enough of those every years end. Useless
16
That thumbnail angle of shot is what they should use at CSPAN, rather than those close-in shots of orators. Show how empty the place usually is. Reality 90% of what is fed to us is cosmetics
16
100 million is a gross underestimate
15
US veterans helping UAE or CCP ought to be illegal, that said, our vets deserve better pensions!
15
Nice to see making these bills above board are bilaterally supported
13
What was the actual date of this? "From day one, inauguration day". Meaning time travel? or does she expect him to win a second term?
13
Lee successfully susses out the tricky crap in a bill doing the opposite of what it claims to do
12
Asking for logical behaviour from the insane . . . They cannot be taught on the floor. Debates and communiques won't work. They have to get it knocked into their heads by us, the voters. Vote the bums out
12
"These are dangerous tweets, and these tweeters are dangerous, and we will be going after such tweeters despite losing control of Twitter!!*$#@$$"
12
"I'm running again . . . So I better start dissing those guys . . across the aisle . . So here goes . . nothin' . . ."
11
Energy is the ability to do work. In its broadest meaning and specifically scientific meaning. Work permeates every level of society. Society is work.

Well, Karine's new look is surprising
9
Anything not revealed is the point. So you can't say "everything is revealed and available". I believe the prior assertion's intent was that when a Republican majority is in that not a penny will go to Ukraine where there are hidden factors or without thorough oversight of how those monies are being spent. That quick mumble, to paraphrase, about "certain things can't be revealed" was nothing less than gobbledegook slyness. Part of their oaths should include one has to be honest and not a liar
8
That's right. Our rights are coupled with our responsibilities
8
The AG acts like reps are just to be ignored. 'No consequences' is the actuality we're watching play out. 'No consequences' to all their perfidious actions is not just a reality, but it's their operating policy when it pertains to them, but it sure as hell is not when it comes to their enemies.
8
"Because I'm a woman!!! OBviously. Duh!"
8
Judges cherry picking which laws are real and unreal plays havoc on our system worse than precedent law
8
I wouldn't laugh, I'd ask "be specific, exactly what in the prior rulings or readings got missed? What, if anything was 'writ small' in them?"
7
"Not that it shouldn't have been done"? It was the right thing to shoot and kill a rioter? Better to shoot and kill than bodily push her out? Better than maceing her? Better to cower and use lethal force? Was it better to have a coordinated action by those there to guard the building to let them in and encouraging them to rush in? Better to block appeals to have National Guard populate the area? The entire scenario is fishy as hell
7
"Oh! Heh, I . . was hoping you wouldn't ask . . . about that . . heh . ."
7
The dangers of generalizing in writing. Speaking to specific cases is the only safe way. One would hope a judge would know that. PBA is a monstrous act
7
That protester wasn't intelligent enough to make her statements at pauses, instead of merely making them unintelligible by trying to talk over him. Wonder if she makes over minimum wage for what she's doing
7
"Well, y'see, we didn't think the taliban folks were gonna be such bastards . . . it really hurts our feelings . . y'know, all this stuff . . . And, I guess, we didn't expect the Afghan military to be just as wimpy now as they were on the last day of training . . . real puzzler that . . er . . . Anyhoo, heh, we gotta run . . important military stuff to do . . K? B'bye."
7
If recording matches the transcript, why withhold it claiming executive privilege? It's self evident it means the transcript isn't faithful to the facts. Liars do such things, not honest people.
7
That look on her face as she flatly says " . . . to start a family" is like, "yeah, um, no. "
6
If the transcript matches the recording, why exert executive privilege over it?
6
"We see no problem with releasing a terrorist enabler in exchange for an anti-America enabler. It makes us look good to our woke friends. Have a nice day every person!"
6
"we want Trump" chant he or someone instantly alters to "USA!" chant . . Yeah, Can't escape the man's influence and persistence in people's wishes . . Can almost hear the retort: "So what am I? Chopped liver?"
6
Any response to Rachel Self's claims re Martha's Vineyard thing
