And they strongly felt the government ought not abridge those God given rights. They never conceived that disarming the citizenship was a government responsibility.

  12. This practice of reading of our Constitution here in the United States ought be done every year from grammar school eighth year through senior year of high school. And it should be required that every tv station should be required every year air this reading in prime time some day of the week. Knowledge of our Laws, our Rights and our Responsibilities is the best insurance against inimical actors or actions from any source whatever that would curtail them.

So now we've been told about yet another rip off, the only thing that's being done are amendment after amendment being cobbled together at the eleventh hour and doubtlessly missing crucial things including changing the election law so that current objections to suspect election processes will be difficult to raise if not impossible. Dirty pool going on and that entire mess down there in DC is only getting worse. Who would have thought that the GOP would be the last bastion of Constitutional protections. The Dems since the 60s have been doing exactly what Ike warned us of.

  17. Address the fact that big pharma is the greater cause of medicare costs. That and the philosophy of medicine that minimalizes nutrition and accentuates patent drugs. And who knows how social security funds are "invested". And who buys that factoid that medicare comes close to military expenses? Remember: not one chronic, metabolic disease has ever been resolved by patent medicines. All resolutions have been dietary or factors normal to the physiological economy: Air, water, sunlight, exercise and food and food factors. Drugs don't do a damn thing for chronic, metabolic diseases.

  22. A flag for a city by definition already includes all citizens. If citizens with particular stripes of adherence wish to loft their banner, let it be somewhere other than a city government base. By allowing one to have city government conscience to fly but not another citizen says those denied aren't citizens. For example denying a nazi flag over their city hall as well as a Christian flag equates nazism and Christianity as anathema, abhorrent. These issues are inappropriate for a city body to undertake deciding, to say nothing about the Constitutional separation of church and state, that is, forbiddance of a union of church and state. All in all this is a silly waste of the valuable time of our highest court. It is repugnant they have given this issue so much time and turned a blind eye against the irregularities of the last presidential election hiding behind the straw man issue of "standing". Pathetic.

  45. Trump cannot win in 2024. Period. But between Biden/Harris, and DeSantis, the only way DeSantis could lose would be due to his choice of a running mate. Say Jenna Ellis or Hawley. Ellis would be a kind of sting to Trump, but would also weaken DeSantis' chances due to the association between Ellis and Trump. DeSantis/Cruz might be stretching it, but would be a far sight better than DeSantis/McConnel, lol. I think we're going to be surprised by the gamut of opposition to the Dem ticket in any case. But forget about Trump. As much as he's loved, the hate is equally great. Right or wrong as that may be. In fact I'd wager that putting Trump first is about the surest way to insure the Dems win.
