Good for Cruz for defense of parents of school kids. However, I am not in agreement with seeking to make schools into jail-like environments by putting cops or security police on campuses. Arming the teachers would be better than that

Whoa, epitome of gobbledegook non-answer . . . " . . . and so forth . ." is all he left out
1
Well, maybe she's one of those invisible people he keeps trying to shake hands with. Rip
1
House conservative Majority and all bills will dead end in the Senate. Expect a f@#&ing frustrating two years . .
1
Do we really is expect the Senate to do anything but shoot down every effort? Can anything really get accomplished?
1
So the bill Trump advocated for and was blocked by democrats, now has legs because advocated under democrats? Omnibus bills, gluts of riders and unrelated junk ought to be outlawed. You'd need a team of 20+ people to just skim read them all, 50+ to absorb and parse them.. or read all through their "vacation" time. I put quotes there because it seems even in session so many of them act like it's a vacation. Just look at all the empty seats . . . I guess they're supposedly off tending to . . . Something
1
Mega-paged bills are basically fussilades and forms of cross fire, relying on lack of time for assessment and counter-arguments. Dirty pool as par for the course. And we, we reelect those playing dirty pool year after year. Shame on us
1
Biggs may not be a facile reader, but those emails are damning and what will we get as a result? Nothing until the house and Senate reorganization. The majority is deaf to all criticism and damning evidence
1
In her deluded mind, all kinds of things are "broadly and widely" known . . . only to her . .
1
Judge trying to twist meanings is blatant, using equivalencies that don't actually apply.
1
Looks like Forbes is doing a better job than CSPAN.

Difficult to take the death stats seriously when hospitals and officials are incentivised monetarily to declare a death, incidentally with covid, as a death DUE to COVID-19. We already know positivity is likely greater with little or no symptoms. We'll know better as the home kits for testing get wider distribution. But there isn't actual science behind that number. Not really. It is a hyping point, obviously. Science has been subverted by politics.
1
"Well, we're focusing more on dangerous PTA members, parents at school meetings, that sort of thing. We don't feel antifa, radical BLMers, or woke proabortionists pose any significant threat . . . surely not as dangerous as parents . . ."
1
This is about the greatest, common sense thing heard in that hall for I don't know how long
1
Someone needs to talk him into dialing back the hyperbole. "Greatest" this, "greatest" that, "in the history of" the world, of America? Not only are such exaggerations inaccurate, they're often untrue. Try "about the best in a long time" or something less absolutist. It's tiresome and makes it difficult to take even more reasonable statements as seriously.

This has that Watergate vibe to it doesn't it...
1
The way this is written out, it sounds like you're saying he killed a mother of three then held a press conference? Is that it?
1
Yeah, they want one party, democratic. Then it will turn into liberal democrats versus conservative democrats. Then far left democrats against all other democrats. Then no more men or women, only persons or bodies, plutocracy, communism, police state then bedlam, slavery, extinction.
1
Everything this fastidious gentleman says falls on deaf ears. It's pathetic.
1
Thought this was about Skelator . . .

A vaccination requirement for entry is a feature benefitting only pharma, and is an illegitimate criterion. mRNA Vaccination, it's been discovered, does not prevent contagion. It in fact opens recipients to risk for biological impairments. Testing may be legitimate, but there are questions as to the accuracy of test methods. The proper criterion for admission or rejection of entry has to be the usual ones, and not ones designed to favor pharma profits.
1
And yet the panic button talk was always how much more dangerous would be the next variants, opposite the evolutionary history well known to virologists and in accordance with evolutionary theory. Since viruses are dependent for continuation on less, not greater lethality. So why would they trumpet every day how gloomy the future was going to be? It certainly amped up vax sales. A regular bonanza for big pharma. Despite the fact good nutrition offers best dependable immune health and disease resistance. Instead one would wonder how the human race survived before vax mania.
1
"I'm not gonna talk 'bout dat, capiche?"
1
What bailout? Offers to purchase were available to be made and denied by FDIC. This is a fundamental bunko scheme by the Fed, money laundering and an attack on crypto.
1
Pharma promotes pharma friendly judges too! Big pharma, they're on the job!
1
Not fun to watch? You kidding me? Not only is it fun to see, it's vital we see kick down, kick ass brawling against BAU
1
Obviously not an independent thinker. Member of the pack, a check, check toady.
1
McClintock is better than McCarthy. I still can't get over that milktoast republicrat somehow has the position he has. The cutting edge of the GOP is evidently in the minority of the onetime minority . . And yet getting an edge up hasn't helped

It amazes me he has to apologize for talking to whomever may be listening, members of the House or Senate -- very few -- as if they're children, that he's talking grown up talk. "Difficult" for the large numbers of the childish there, "men and women-childs"
1
"Sorry ma'am, I only do crinkle crankle answers, or, as some say, zig zag type answers . . "
1
Except for my first choice of musical chairs as a selection method, a good old fashioned knock down, drag out fight might come in second . .
1
Matter of fact and to the point. Kennedy is making an impression if people would listen.
1
I'll drink . . Hic . . to that
1
The gum chewing behind him was a little annoying
1
So the feds are turning a blind eye to antifa too, eh?
1
Pretty quiet across the aisle. Not even crickets, because none of them are there. We are though. The power in the internet, because before it, the only people who would see this were cable subscribers to CSPAN, or readers of the Congressional Record

The chemistry of a pandemic lockdown, social wokeness zealots and reactive conservatives is the makings of a perfect storm a-brewing. And our enemies, the CCP and old Soviet anticapitalists are thrilled to watch what their incursions and baiting have created. We're playing right into their hands. Who would have thought after the progress made in race relations it would get all stirred up again? Yet that is one of the favorite tools of the Soviet "Active Measures" department of disruption and division. Should we be surprised that the founders of BLM were proud to announce their communist strategies and roots? The sex confusionists are operating on the exact same strategy. Like dripping water taps, it is wearing on ordinary people especially under the recent lockdowns and strictures, mandates, etc. People will snap. Drawing in the federal forces is just what ought not be done because that will inflame the entire mess even more, but, then again, we ought to be fed up with radical left or right overwielding power. That has to be reined in more urgently than PTA parents
1
There are still some adults acting in Washington DC.
1
Doesn't the US government have the right to defend itself from its own people? Everybody picking on the poor government while we be PTA's terrorizing school boards by criticizing, unmasking our kids and all. Can't we all see government being picked on? Gov lives matter! Gotta fight it's own people don't you see???
1
Yeah, the object was to paint opposition as no good crooks. But ordinary people do see the political smear and the gestapo tactics. Boy howdy do we ever
1
Let's hear more "nyahnyahnyahs"!
1
The Dems won't respond to the excoriating facts re their claims of H. Biden's laptop as Russian disinfo. And the mainstream media will collude with them in keeping it low-key. So far they've done token pieces but no screaming, bold-print front page headlines. But Americans have known for a long, long time newspapers were mostly propaganda and editorial, not bare bones reportage. Hope depends on the sober minded independents alone.
1
Now, now, let's be fair . . . Americans don't want a strictly one sided government. Time to grow up and face reality: both sides have been schmucky
1
Some kind of madness has tornadoed its way through the body politick, especially ripping its way through the Democratic party. It's like they've all gone insane and defiantly insist they are sane, everyone else is insane . .
1
No sense laying odds on McCarthy nobly stepping away I guess . . . Maybe he's stalling until they can figure out how to get rid of santos
1
@natalyaeydinov4011 : The Musketeers motto isn't that different from E Pluribus Unum.
1
The cages are under aegis of ICE, aren't they? Or whomever. They were there under Obama, there under Trump and now under Biden. Stop calling them some Pres or another's creation.
