  9. It is an inane thing to suggest, and for the highest office in the land to be the source is embarrassing. If it weren't coming from there it would be amusing, though it is laughable. The naivety of it is worrisome, but more so is the fact he doesnt see it, the hubris of it.

  12. I think Putin is only using it to kill off his enemies inside the Russian military, those he knows would resist his attempt to become czar/dictator. He can't outright murder them like the Russian journalists he's offed. So he's using Ukrainians to do the dirty work. Probably leaking their positions to the Ukrainians.
