She might have earned demotion, desk duty, retraining, fine, etc. Let's see, the reason police are given dogs is for what? barking, intimidation alone? Scent tracking alone? What did the rule books say? Was siccing not allowed? what things can a dog officer not do? Did she do that? Fit punishment to the offense. Dear God what a world.
