Badar never actually "destroys' Fry and his whole position is a house of cards. "you can't have free will without the possibility of suffering" - If your god can't do this then he's not all powerful. So there is no free will in your afterlife? "evil in the world is by and large the function of human actions" - Disease, famine, natural disaster, the violent horrors of the animal kingdom. Sorry but your god has to take some blame here not humans. He mentions this but never provides a good answer for it. Badar's "out"... his excuse.. for all the problems is an assertion that eternity in paradise will make up for the evil. That's not a great way to respond to the evil. You cannot support this. You can only assert it. So he's got a big problem here and you're trying to wriggle out of it with unsupported assertions. Even even concedes all the unknowns. ...and then has the nerve to accuse others of being arrogant. He's the one acting like he's got the answers - not atheists. If anyone is being arrogant here it's him. He accuses Fry of a logical fallacy because he's not considering the wonders of the afterlife. That's simply wrong. Fry is clearly in incorporating this in what he says. The fallacy here is that Badar assumes that the evil acts are justified. He can't prove it. He assumes it and wants everyone else to as well. His whole argument is based off blind faith that the suffering is the best way to be tested. If children with bone cancer is the best way he can teach lessons I don't think it's such a great god. What makes more sense is that we live in a universe where good things and bad things happen and no brilliant mind is watching and guiding .....

1. That's an assertion. I can do that as well. The proof for the magical fairy queen is the universe. The proof for an eternal quantum vacuum is the universe. It's easy to make assertions. 2. Another assertion. See above. It's easy to do. 3. By that rationale, you can murder your own children. 4. As above. You created your children so its just for you to torture them - your logic. 5. Another assertion with no support provided.

"if all suffering was removed how would there be any free will for the human experience? " If your god can't create a universe with free will and without suffering then he isn't omnipotent.

@SandiegoRockstar So you have no free will paradise?
1
@SandiegoRockstar Is there suffering in paradise? You said above that suffering is required for free will.
1
@SandiegoRockstar " However in paradise the bad actors have been filtered out" But do they have the free will to cause suffering if they want? Is there suffering in this paradise? If you answer no to either of these questions it contradicts your previous premise.

"the suffering in this earth are by human hands" So when a baby is killed by a an earthquake or a tsunami it's human's fault? That doesn't make sense. "And indeed "Bone cancer in children Why?" Why isn't there a cure yet," So it's our fault because we haven't accounted for the evils of the god yet?

@baronq9788 "Please do tell me did you see God nudging Indonesia" Don't you believe that your god set all of this up? Didn't he plan all of this? Did he not know what he was doing? You can't really have it both ways here.

@baronq9788 "How is it the evil of god?" Causing suffering to children and families is evil. " Its like you are saying that a teacher is evil because they gave out homeworks?" There is an important difference. The best and only way that a teacher can get us to learn things is with homework. The teacher doesn't have unlimited powers. Supposedly your god does. For your analogy to hold, you would have to accept that your god is a being with limited power like a human. You seem to also imply this in your post above where your argument would mean that what happens on the earth is out of his control or understanding.

@baronq9788 " And are you Implying that we humans have complete control over every minute detail of our everyday life?" No. Why do you think I could be implying that? " We humans don't even understand ourselves fully and you claim that everything is under our control and understanding?" I'm not claiming that. In fact I'm claiming the opposite. " a very naive and arrogant suggestions if you ask me." You are quite confused. Before you insult me again, read my posts properly.
