I will repeat - the trigger for the change in laws was mass shootings. They were brought in as a result of mass shootings. You keep talking about something other than mass shootings. " I don’t think the laws were to address mass shootings alone" That was obviously the trigger as the laws changed as a result of one AND the laws coincided with a change in the trend of mass shootings. You're diverting to other things. You can't say that they made no difference when they clearly did - on mass shootings.
